Sanction consisting primarily of penalties against the entity Respondent Super Micro, ($17.5 million), a producer of computer servers, and its former CFO Hideshima. The SEC found that, in an atmosphere of pressure and lacking proper controls, Super Micro prematurely recognized revenue and misused its cooperative marketing program. Also, according the SEC’s release, the CEO, Liang, was not charged with wrongdoing but consented to reimburse over $2 million in stock sale profits from this time period.
